International Shipping
The main focus is with Jebsens Orient Shipping Services (JOSS) chartering and shipping operations for the movement of bulk raw material cargoes or finished products between Australia , New Zealand and Asia and the Joint Venture between Jebsens and MUR Shipping – JebMur which focuses on the trans-pacific trade to/from USWC, including Canada to Australia and New Zealand.
Australian Coastal Shipping
JINTA also operates coastal shipping services on behalf of Jebsens Coastal Shipping Services Pty Ltd (JCSS -
www.jebsens.com.au). Previously it has also handled container and self unloading vessels. Part of this business is also developing specialized shipping projects in conjunction with industrial shippers in Australia under Australian terms and conditions.
Western Australian Coastal
WA coastal service kicks off
Jebsens Coastal Shipping Service has begun its new operation servicing the WA coast as of March 22, 2010. We are currently operating the Kimberley Queen which is a 4766 deadweight self geared multi purpose ship capable of lifting up to 384 teu with 60 reefer capacity outlets utilising 2 x 40 Mt Liebherr cranes. The service currently offers fortnightly sailing's from Fremantle to Broome, Wyndham and Darwin with inducement calls available to other ports enroute including Dampier and Port Hedland. Services offered and cargoes carried to date include, wharf/wharf, hook/hook and door/door of all types of cargo including containerised, breakbulk and bulker bags. A vast variety of products carried include commodities such as Cement, Lime and Fertiliser through to luxury boats, barges, tugs and mining machinery.
